Nobody is untouchable...

Can we all just admit that please? We all as fans look to the future of this team, because of the present disappointments, but nobody on a team this bad is untouchable.

Some say Garcia's effort, energy, and leadership make him untouchable. Let's be real: the guy doesn't really change how others play, and his 'go all-out' style tends to lead to mistakes as much as great plays. He can get trigger happy and take rushed shots as well as commit charges a lot. His defense doesn't seem to be as consistent as it used to be, and the guy just isn't the level of player that deserves the label of being untouchable.

Martin is no franchise player, but he's the best the team has at the moment. That still doesn't mean he's untouchable. His big contract and the fact that he can't stay healthy is a major worry, and what he brings to the table (which would be efficient scoring and not much else) isn't worthy of being labeled untouchable.

Spencer Hawes has potential, but he is still just a mediocre talent who can't consistently produce. Does that mean he won't? No, but right now, there's no reason to call him untouchable, just as there was no reason to call a young Hedo or Gerald Wallace untouchable when they were with the Kings. He may turn out to be a good player, and may even be a star, but right now, that future isn't certain, and while I would very much like to see that future sought after, I know that he's not a player that should be "hands off".

I'm not suggesting these players should be moved, or that I dislike them. I'm simply saying that on a team this bad, that is playing this poorly, there should be no one that is untouchable. I want whatever is best for the future success of the team, and if that may be with these guys, or using these guys in a deal for that purpose, then so be it.
