I keep hearing about Noah probably because he is much better today than Hawes who went one pick lower.

BUT...

Noah is a garbage person.... I dont know this dude personally but if you dig around a little bit you'll find actual quotes from him like.... about how "im addicted to frat partys"-Noah/ESPN mag..... all he does is smoke week and drink all the time... does anyone else remember what he said after winning the championships in college? its all hes about...

Not only that but he's such a spoiled baby... i saw a behind the lines feature about how his dad played pro tennis and the moral is Noah is a joke... (no not just because his dad was a pro but because he acts like one)

Guys maybe Noah will be a better player than hawes will ever be, but after Artest, I want no part of classless players that will only end up embarrassing themselves and their teams(like when he was arrested for possession of drugs with an open container)... plus one of the things i like about the Kings is that they seem to avoid some of these type of losers...

Noah is a perfect fit on a team of quitters with no heart... why would you want him here? ruining our great chemistry right now?

couple things to remember.... hes 3 years older than Hawes... hes older than JT...

also his nickname for himself is "the African Viking."

you could put down A.I.'s stat line from his best year and there would be GM's that wouldn't want him.... same goes for any of these over the top clown's in this league... the only exception is if its only for one year...

in the history of the NBA theres been a lot of great players stat wise that were still losers and hurt their teams by just being on it...

his stat line looks really good as a big L for loss...
 
The guy's a goofball, but I've seen no evidence of what you're claiming. If you look at Bulls boards, their fans are in no way looking to get rid of him. They consider Rose/Noah/Deng to be their core.

I'll vehemently disagree with your assessment of Joakim Noah. I wanted him last year and was disappointed when the Bulls took him right ahead of us. What I saw last night was someone who wasn't ready to quit even when the body language of the rest of his team was dismal. He still wanted to fight, he was vocal and animated during time outs and he did not just roll over and play dead like the majority of his team - and his coach.

You really need to get a little more information before you post stuff without any basis in reality whatsoever.

Yeah, okay... Using caps doesn't make your comments more valid. I know what I saw last night - and I saw ONE player in a Bulls uniform who didn't just roll over and play dead. And that player was Noah.

In case you're too young to have lived it, a lot of these very same comments were made about someone else a long time ago. Know who it was? I'll give you a hint. His jersey hangs in the rafters at Arco.
 
You're obviously really hung up on that point, but still not demonstrating how he has hurt his team. He puts out more effort on the court than any player on their team. I doubt he'd be such a fan favorite if they felt he was detrimental to the team.

I'm a bit confused. Were his comments in reference to him being all about drug abuse or winning championships? If it's the latter, you completely lost me.

Otherwise, the last time I checked Sacto is notorious for rehabilitating intractable players. If we gain a 12 rebound 2 block per game player via trade without giving away too much I think you do it, and you do it everytime.

The fact of the matter is 95% of your NBA players have egos, tempers, demands, and (insert your own word here). Some just happen to be a bit more vocal about them than others.

Noah would solve two of our needs almost instantly. Even if he is as vile as you say he is, I think you bite the bullet and get him. If you have to hear him gripe once a month for the remainder of his stay here, o well.

I agree about most NBA players... but then theres that guy... thats just so stupid ala Beasley/Artest that if they dont quit partying all together they end up doing crazy stupid stuff... at the cost to the team

Mark my words.... this guy will end up doing something really really dumb... find someone you can trust a tad more.

also as dumb as it was for NOC getting the DUI thats a common mistake and alcohol is legal... and its legal to drive after drinking some... hence the fine line to the DUI stuff... but considering that the Kings are trying to get positive support in the community having Noah here for his melt down would be a bad move

I agree with you on those regards. There are some players in this league that are cancerous enough to destroy teams. However, I have yet to see any tangible proof that Noah falls into the Artest category. When Noah starts jumping into stands or (changing sports) changes his name to Joakim "trece" Noah then I'll agree.

In all seriousness, this doesn't worry me at all. You have no facts to prove he has a bad work ethic/personality aside from a photo of him drinking at the beach (which FYI, people do a lot). Yes he is older than Spencer, but Spencer has regressed, as opposed to improved. You're in for a rude awakening if you don't think most NBA players are the exact same way.

And that picture is NOTHING when compared to the drunken stupor picture of Steve Nash and Dirk Nowitzki, those two drunken sots who did so little in the NBA.

+1, this is probably the worst Anti-Player post I've read in my short time here on KF.

You are trying to convince us that a young player out of college who made some poor decisions on interviews is a terrible no heart player? Reality check, a lot of NBA players party, smoke weed, and drink but maybe not all of them doing every single one. Even the skilled ones.

The guy plays with full heart and hustle on the court. He plays good D, and has a managable offensive game. He is competitive and anyone can clearly see that. IF anything it seems like he's shaken loose those youthful tendencies and is focusing on his basketball because he's having a great year this year compared to his past two seasons.

But I guess when ur team(the kings) hasn't had rebounding or shotblocking for as long as it's been ur willing to take anyone... Even this clown....Wow this reeks arrest trade all over again.
 
And once again it's a waste of time now since the odds of him coming here are nil. I'd rather have hawes well see were hawes game is at in 3 years
