NFL 2024-2025 Thread

I hate the Chiefs. Way to destroy our $30 million per year receiver for a meaningless (to you) mid-season game boys. It's always a pleasure. o_O

Well he's got no TO's and a couple of rookie receivers who've played what, a dozen snaps between them? KC was loaded up for the run there.
Situationally, the fact that the refs penalized the Niners a timeout for Aiyuk getting hurt probably hurt them more than him actually being hurt

It is on 3rd and 1 with 27s left and no timeouts
Assuming that he was successful, you wind up with two extra downs after clocking the ball. When your top three receivers and you reigning OPOY all-world running back are out, you don’t really have many options besides just trying to live another down.

So you trust the QB that everyone is clamoring is ELITE to make a play. Idk if Mason is still banged, or the Chiefs D is this beastly (a little of both) but Mason has done nothing all game. It was a terrible playcall and being passive about it because of injuries is silly.

You have to look at the risk of the play - no way to stop the clock - putting Purdy on the move would've had more upside.

I’d celebrate, but you know what happens when the 49ers pick off Mahomes in the second half of games. Lmao

That looks like a bad spot.
Amazing how refs can be this bad at spotting the ball at the NFL level. If a high school ref somehow put the ball down a yard back of where it should have been, they probably get put on probation.
