NFL 2022-2023 Season Thread

I wanna pick your brain on your thoughts on trey being a bust. I hear this from so many 9er fans and it just blows my mind. What have you seen that says he’s a bust?
Josh Allen was a turnover machine his first year and Buffalo fans were already souring on him. Philly fan was attempting to run Jalen Hurts out of town until he started ballin this year. Why are football fans so willing to run talent out of town having never seen them play or before they are given the chance to develop?
Lance reminds me of Kaepernick. His decision making/processing/reads are not there and I wonder if he can get there. He does deserve a fair shake as he hasn't had enough games I think. Hurts was horrible last year in the playoffs - major reason Eagles losing.....he's playing well to start this year, but the defense deserves alot of credit too. Its gonna take alot more consistent play from Hurts to change my opinion on him after that stinker.....how about Jackson and Murray - they are incredible athletes/runners, best in the league, but inconsistent and mistake prone QBs. I think its Allen and Mahomes and then a drop off this year. Allen forced throws earlier, but I think he's been well coached and figured out nuances of running. Mahomes will probably take over all the records if he stays healthy.

Another thing on Allen, he was alot closer to Trubinsky (mediocre) his first year. You just don't know. Allen looks to enjoy evading, whereas some QBs look freaked (JimmyG). Allen's a big dude - he reminds me of Donavan McNabb, but even better.

Watching Lance on clips, he evidently loved running the football on QB sneaks in D2 and using his physicality to dominate D2 athletes like UC Davis, but that doesn't mix too well against NFL athletes. LBs are mostly as big and fast as he is. During the Cardinals regular season game last year he went goal-line and lowered his should against a DB and LB together.......you dont want your starting QB doing that unless in the playoffs with game or season on the line. That's the kind of player Lance is- he likes contact and that unfortunately doesn't mix well with the QB position.
