Just kind of a quick reaction...
#1 - As far as the design goes, don't hate it, don't love it.
#2 - The park on the roof really does make about no sense, though the fact that there's a walkway up to it is at least kind of interesting.
#3 - The blobby stuff is basically hideous.
#4 - Now here's the interesting part. Both #1 and #3 appear to show the exterior counterpart to this shot - a plaza that opens up to the outside (presumably weather-permitting, so sliding glass panes or something) allowing a view of the court from one baseline (perhaps both?). Considering that baseline seats are generally less desirable than sideline seats (at least in my own personal bias) it makes some sense to reduce seating there. The narrow strip at the second level above the plaza (also visible in #1) appears to have some standing-room seats (again, good idea for baselines) and perhaps some box-type seating above that. The point being that in the less-desirable area on the upper baseline, most "seats" seem to be front-row seats, which would increase their value.
I can see how the Delta Breeze could be used for cooling - weather permitting - but in general I think that's a bit gimmicky. It's not like they won't have an air conditioning system and I doubt that open-air conditions will be terribly common. But hey, could be wrong. With the right design, moving outdoor air on a pleasant night could save some electricity, but the trick is probably figuring out how to get the system to work well across a range of outdoor temperatures. What if they want to open the arena, but it's hot out? Can the A/C handle that in a non-wasteful manner?
Anyway, great to see arena designs after all we've been through the past few years! The open-air concept does look intriguing - and with the unusual backdrop it might present it could give us a nice home-court advantage (in the second half?) over teams not used to shooting into it.
