Nets/Suns: Suns getting flogged

Wow, just got home, awesome win for En Jay! 110-72. Pistons/Suns back-to-back wins.

Nash - 0 pts, 5 assists, 3 boards...

Franchise-low 26.5 percent shooting, 65-45 on the boards... Marv and Mark Jackson saying he didn't look good and in pain at times. Mark suggesting to shut him down for the season.

Shut who down?

Yeah, Folsom, NJ looks like they are on a tear! Looking like they really deserve to be in the POs!

I agree, he should NOT have been activated until next season.

Those who do not pay attention to history, are doomed to repete it.

 wow this is one of those games that is just unbelievable. to win in that sort of fashion against a top seeded Suns team is just crazy. maybe those guys will be humbled a bit. think this changes mvp considerations since its so close to the end of the season? Nash and Amare really stunk this one up. maybe the playoffs will be tougher for them than anticipated. still, for some reason this does not make me feel any better for losing to GSW.

Yeah, Amare didn't look good at all. Very sad. I hope he doesn't turn out to be the next Penny or CWebb. That would be so sad, his athletic skills are/were fun as heck to watch!

Phoenix fans can only HOPE he'll end up coming back as far as Webb has. Thus far, Chris Webber has actually had the most success in eventually getting back to anywhere near where he was before the surgery. Webber's main drawback now is his age, not the knee.

I've been afraid of this all along. I certainly hope any damage he might have done by coming back is temporary in nature. I like Amare and he had a great future with this league...I hope it's not all gone.

holy schnikes!!!!!!!

nash with no points??? this the night after beating the pistons in detroit?!?! WOW!!!!!!

the nets could be a power player in the east come playoff time

If the Suns are serious about making a deep run in the playoffs, Amare has to play now. If you get to the second, third round, Amare will want to play. You can't have him playing his first game back in the playoffs. He needs to play now so you know where he and the team are at.

Packt - If the Suns are serious about having Amare for more than just the end of this season, they have to look long and hard at how he's able to perform. They aren't going to beat Dallas or San Antonio anyway. At this point, they have to look at the bigger picture. Using him now could well lead to problems next season.

Chris Webber is also strictly a jumpshooter now and shoots in the low 40's percentage wise. Amare would use his quickness and athletic skills to get easy dunks and often times shoot in the 60's. That is a BIG difference. Webber has survived because he is so multi-talented.
