Nets rally to send game to OT

Kidd has a TD, Vince is two rebounds away from a TD and DWAYNE WADE ALMOST HAS A CD! (Cuadrouple sp? Double) 18pts 9reb, 8ast, 8to's.

Nets up by two with a couple mins left. Its obvious the Heat will wint he series but the Nets arent going down easy at home.

There was a very bad call that favored the Miami Heat. Shaq elbowed Collins in the face and a foul was called on Collins with no time left on the shot clock for the Heat. Shaq went the free throw line. He made the first which tied the game at 98, missed the second, but it was a double lane violation. There was a jump ball with Shaq and Collins. This favored the Heat, but there was a violation on the jump ball on the Heat, so it was Nets ball.

Vince Carter makes a onehanded floater shot to tie the game at 101, and Steve Kerr refereed to it as the "Tony Parker floater." Can this guy go a game without mentioning the Spurs?

We're going to see more of this. He and Wade have gotten some terrible late calls this year that have crippled the opponent's chances of winning.

And tell me, do you think Shaq is getting away with even more blatant rooting charges this year or is it just because I'm looking at him from a different perspective?

That shot should be called the Danny Manning or the Mark Jackson if anything. Tony Parker my rump.

just for everyone's information:

- a corner 3 pointer is now referred to as a "Bruce Bowen 3"
- a post-up move in the paint is now a "Duncan post-up"
- benching starters for poor play is now known as a "Popovich substitution"
- defensive stops are now "Spurs stops"

and finally...
- recklessly driving to the basket and throwing up a prayer off the glass is now simply a "GIIIII-NOOOO-BLIIIIII!"

haaa.... that is so true though... icould just see barley saying something like that about another team....

LMAO great post, that got me rolling. Heat will sweep the nets...and then proceed to bounce the Bulls in 5....tops. This team plays solid D, Has two great outside shooters, and Shaq in the post....oh don't forget wade...and the refs.

It's the same crap as always, you're just not seeing it through purple and yellow goggles.

well one thing the Nets can take from this series is that Nenad Krstic can play. All they need is a decent power forward next year and they 're set.

I am noticeing a pattern... all Spur related eh? Ok, how about a clutch 3 at the end of regulation [can and] is a "Horry Dagger"?

Unfortunately, the "Horry Dagger" only applied when he was a Laker. When he was a Spur, his last minute 3's rattled in and out.

This years heat are the 2000-2002 lakers....getting every call. You can't even breathe on wayde, it's ridiculous. I'm sick of the way the refs baby the superstars

I never disputed that Shaq didn't get away with plows his whole career. They just seem to be more violent as his agility decreases on a yearly basis.
