This. You could start to see today that guys were running to spots and the ball would show up...if Kosta could just hang on to the ball once in a while we'll be cooking with gas.
Rondo exact same expression for 48 minutes all the time. Even when made inbound critical error or immediately afterwards air-balled free throw. Exact opposite composure as Cousins. Not a knock on Big Cuz but he might want to take que from such professional calm under pressure. Rondo is NAILS!!
and almost no subs straight 48 mins on last 3 games and his composure in crunch time is incredible.Rondo with 3 triple doubles in the last 4 games, jesus christ
I had to refresh this pic!
So I'm usually Mr. Positive but I have to ask...what is so wrong with us that one player has to score 40 and the other needs a triple-double, just to barely beat a really bad team??? This should've been a blood bath...in our favor!

I haven't seen that from anyone for a while.
Great points, all.Poor free throw shooting and some amazing Nets shooting when the game looked to be over skewed the final score.
What truly matters is the way recovered and climbed back from a 15- point deficit to get a win. We played a great 2nd half.
Edit: Not to mention perhaps two of our four best players were out (Gay, Collison).
...I'm sorry but I just don't understand the need to look for the dark lining in the silver cloud right now.
Am I the only one who wishes Doug Christie was in the broadcast booth every game? He's so much fun to listen to...I really enjoy his obvious passion and enthusiasm. Plus he's funny as hell sometimes...I can listen to him forever.
Then let me add what an incredible, great feeling it was to see Vlade standing there, watching over everything. ;-) We know we're in good hands!
Let's not go crazy, now...Nope, you're definitely not alone. He makes Grant bearable...
Ahahahahah! This goes straight to the top ten!cauley-stein - the smart version of javale mcgee
You already do, actually...Rondo has smartly forced the Kings to pound the ball into Cousins. Can we have a player-coach?
no kidding..?Rondo sees the game on another level
Despite of all the crap unloaded on him by biased and ignorant reporters, the guy is definitely neither a quitter nor an ungrateful person. What happened last year in DAL was ridiculous and he was used to justify any negligence and failure in that organization... "cancer", "selfish", "quitter", "finished"... well.. I bet you have seen all that in his attitude since he joined the Kings, haven't you?He said he came here to play with Boogie which you can believe or not. They are both from Kentucky and Boogie is kinda good. I think we earned some brownie points by signing him after he was dumped by the Mavs. Seems a bit early to worry about such things but I'm right there with you.
And my boy got to meet both DC13 and Bjax. Good to know they stand up guy around.Am I the only one who wishes Doug Christie was in the broadcast booth every game? And even tho cuz protested taking him out in the 3rd prob allowed him to stay in longer in the 4th and not foul out til the last few minWithout a doubt Karl's best game of the year. Having Acy play Lopez was a key move in the game. Very happy for Ben. Not only did he make some shots, but he played smart. He moved the ball well.
Overall a nice win. Nets are not good, but they were coming off a win at Houston and they might have been tougher than we thought.
It appears Vlade is quietly recruiting his old squad.Am I the only one who wishes Doug Christie was in the broadcast booth every game? He's so much fun to listen to...I really enjoy his obvious passion and enthusiasm. Plus he's funny as hell sometimes...I can listen to him forever.
That's the point, VF... The entire preseason was a long thread of doubters, haters and disillusioned comments about how insane Vlade had gone to sign RR and not shipping the immature (just to pick one of the kindest adjectives) Boogie to some other team and trade him for a more constant and reliable player. The bandwagon seemed to never be big enough to take everyone on board. They're the perfect duo. Enjoy it and don't worry about trying to change it.

Now you might have just realized to have the best big and the best point guard in today's league, they are showing up signs of a solid chemistry that seems to be contagious and the other players are slightly buying in.
The head coach is working out his eventual personal issues with the big star and rowing along for the common good.
And many of you are still digging for dirt instead of cheering and enjoying the moment?
Let that job and attitude to any ziller-minded reporter out there.
40 point, 1 turnover! 3rd triple-double in one week! Rudy out, Darren out. Yet, these guys seem to never be able to make their fans happy enough.
Forgive me to be so limited, but my comprehension doesn't extend so far.
I will quote you on this in May, KFG...While I'm a huge Rondo fan, there is no reason right now to get carried away.
Rondo's on the floor leadership is a huge benefit for the Kings. Finally we have a player, that will make more smart than bad decisions, when under pressure and is vocal enough to direct the whole team.
Rondo could very well be one of the two missing links for the Kings (an upper echolon wind defender is still missing).
But there are still some major concerns, that come with Rondo.
How well will he handle teams, that force him to shoot the ball? How well will he shoot FT's this season? How will he defend the elite PG's in this league, when he isn't assigned to the weaker guard (his D on Curry was decent, but he has to bring this every night)?
Sure the early season looks promising, but to be honest, it will take stellar play from Rondo, Rudy, Cuz and Ben or Anderson to get the Kings into the playoffs.
And anything but the Playoffs doesn't count as a successful season!
I will start cheering about the best playmaker in this league (best PG is too much of a reach. Sorry!), once we have reached the 8th spot come playoff time.

My statement refers to a broader specter of sources, spanning from press to forum users.I don't particularly remember that being the dominant direction of the conversation around here.
