I feel like the season may have ended differently had the Kings not been missing their entire shooting guard rotation from 2022-2023 but I feel like this discussion has already been beaten into the ground haha

I think the West will remain a blood bath next year
But we’re going to start seeing the consequences of every single non-OKC/Grizzlies/Kings western conference team having absolutely no assets left to play with and being stuck in the second tax apron come trade deadline season and the Kings might finally be able to use their advantage.
About the Kings I dunno - its pretty bad when a small uptick on defense falls with a larger downtick on offense and a couple less wins.....keeping the team together did not produce the desired synergy hoped for - I thought it was the right move, but disappointed for sure - this year I'm for a change if thats the direction they go, but I'm not calling for it either......the regurlar season - alot more lopsided and terrible losses to bad teams is concerning. The Kings were an average team this year and their finish and record reflected it.

Congrats to JB. The man took so many strays the past few years but I always liked him just a little bit more because the man had the good sense not to attend Duke.

Finally it’s over.

Pretty bad playoffs. New York vs Indiana was probably the best series. Pretty bad considering most of the games were blowouts and New York was down half of their team by the end of it.

Congrats Boston

Get that rumor mill started tomorrow!!

ONLY 5% of the 20 KingsFans.com members who voted in the poll correctly predicted the outcome of the NBA Finals (Winner + # of Games).

You're trying to tell me that ONLY one of us members knew this was not gonna go past a game 5? I find this very hard to believe.

Minus game 4, this was a textbook performance by the Celtics.

They will be back next year, and they won't surprise me if we're talking about back-to-back champions around this time next year, and the chances of a three-peat the year after. They're really that good.

Philly vs NY was pretty good too but other than those two series, these Playoffs have been pretty meh. Doesn't help that a lot of star power was missing so that definitely played a part here

Why would that be an either/or? At what point were the Finals and the Stanley Cup playing the same night?
i really gotta lay it out for you?

I watched baseball when the finals were on and i watched the stanley cup because playoff hockey kicks ass. Did i say anything about the finals and stanley cup being on at the same time?

when i wanted excitement, i watched anything else but the finals.

You implied that you watched the Stanley Cup instead of the Finals. And my point is, no you didn't: you watched the Stanley Cup and you didn't watch the Finals, but you didn't watch the Stanley Cup instead of the Finals, because at no point did you have to choose between watching the Stanley Cup and watching the Finals.

And if that wasn't what you meant, then why did you even think it was pertinent? Why did you come into a thread discussing a sporting event that you'd made no contribution to until after the event was over, just to announce that you didn't watch the event? You just decided the rest of us needed to know? What level of discourse did you think that kind of comment was going to lead to? Is that what the rest of us should be doing, too? Shall I start posting in the NFL and MLB and NHL threads, just to announce that I don't watch that ****?
