The Nuggets are finding themselves in the same conundrum we were in with Boogie except possibly even worse off in that, while Cousins was certainly no defensive superstar, he was still a little more mobile than Jokic is now (the league has also shifted even further to switch-based systems since Malone was coaching the Kings) and the guys left on the Denver roster are all terrible at defense or Aaron Gordon who was brought on to play the Grant role from last season despite not really having the same lateral switchability.

Lue might be slipping below Walton on the coaching rankings after all. He should be using Cuz as a 10-16 mpg bench scorer to hopefully get Kawhi and PG13 rest at the same time. Slow down the game, iso to Cuz, control the clock. Keep it close enough then bring your superstars back fresh.
