I'm torn between Celtics in 5 or Celtics in 6. I know Indiana has at least one win in them, but against the Celtics, I am not sure that they have another...I'm gonna have to sleep on this probably tonight and tomorrow night before making a call.

I voted Celtics in 6. The Celtics will take a few nights off and it will bite them and make this series far closer than it should be because they seem to do that.

I’m taking the Celtics in 3. NBA is going to step in say this is a bloodbath, we won’t play any more games so that Indiana can save some pride.

Celtics in 5

But who know, maybe all their best players get injured as well like the Pacers last two series

Celtics should clean the pacers clocks…….

Celtics in 5.
Yeah, this is pretty much where I am at right now as well. I wouldn't be surprised if Boston wins in 4, but I always like to give the lower seed at least a game.

I, too, predicted Celtics in 5. But you won't find me losing my mind if they do it in 4.

The Celtics will likely handily take them, but they’ll also probably take a game or two off.

Don’t see a sweep. 5 probably, maybe 6.

Really want the Pacers to somehow pull it out, but can’t see a path to it.

Pacers passing is ridiculous. They’re also shooting over 50% from 3, but they don’t rely on it. They use it instead to draw in the defense and get to the lane

Pacers won’t go away…every time Celtics look like they’re about to pull away, Indiana makes a run to keep it close. Fun game so far.

It’s a lot easier when the basic rules of basketball are no longer enforced.

It’s getting increasingly harder for me to watch a league where Tyrese Haliburton’s buzzer beating 3 to end Q3 is replayed and nobody sees or comments that it was a blatant travel and shouldn’t have counted.

Dude stopped his dribble, established a pivot foot, then left switched his pivot foot so he could get off the shot w/o it getting smacked back in his face.

People need to wake up and realize that today’s players are NOT the best, most gifted of all time but rather are just afforded freedom of movement like we’ve never seen before. And that also defy the basic rules of the game. It’s getting more and more liberal and ridiculous each season.

I’m not at all amazed by what these players are doing when they are given extra steps to do it and not constrained by the rules that were enforced differently before them.

I mean, at this point, why even make them bother with dribbling? Between palming, carrying, taking 3-4 steps, and not having to keep a pivot foot — why not go the full distance and just let them run with the ball w/o having to bother dribbling it? I’m sure they’ll be able to perform even more jaw dropping moves and get off shots from even more improbable/impossible positions.

It’s called it’s part of the rules. Huerter and Deaaron take advantage of the gather step all the time. Jaylen Brown twice this game took two steps after establishing his pivot as part of the step through rule. But yeah let’s highlight Hali
