[NBA] Comments that don't warrant their own thread (2011-2012 season)

The NBA on ABC really don't know who their audience is. They have Bieber promos between breaks.

The Heat are rolling over the Mavs. LeBron and Wade are outscoring them by themselves. Odom is ejected in his first game as for Dallas.

Merry Christmas KF

The NBA never knows who their audience is. Let's not forget those Pop Country all-star halftimes.

Also, ABC's studio crew is awful. I'm embarrassed for what Jon Barry has become, but what in the world is Chris Broussard doing with a seat? He was the worst newsdolt during the lockout, constantly getting his stuff wrong.

I hate Brousard. And did O-dumb really get ejected? I wasn't tuned in for parts of the game. That's hilarious though, to get ejected two games in a row in the same arena yet you played for two different teams haha

Anyone else just find it beyond bizarre to see "World Peace" on a jersey? I wonder what's next for ol' Ron-Ron? Perhaps something in Klingon? And, in other Laker-related non-news, what about Kobe's comment after the game that he can make 28 points in his sleep? Methinks Mr. Bryant's ego may be in for a whole lot of damage during the coming season... He should have said "pre-nup".

Knicks and Boston was a great great game.

and Rondo was just a joy to watch, the way he leaked out, his court awareness, passing and control was just amazing.

shame Joey Crawford got involved to steal the knicks an undeserved win.

more observations; Amare's post game is HORRIBLE, he had no post moves what... so... ever. If he was trapped up high he was clueless. The knicks offense as a whole was just horrible, all ISO, MELO jacking up threes and amare just standing there.

Casspi went 0-4 tonight and only played 20 minutes despite starting.

Dallas played so bad tonight Sean Williams vomited on the court.

I loved it tonight when Jerry said, "This is the fist time I have ever rooted against World Peace."

Spencer Hawes' stats this season: 9.5ppg on 56.3 FG%, 12.5 rpg, 6.0 apg, 2.0 spg, 1.5 bpg

Cousins-Hawes front line

We mad?

Also of note, Chandler Parsons, who baja and I were high on before the draft, is already getting minutes and producing while Tyler Honeycutt, who was drafted before him, can't get on the floor over Travis Outlaw.

Top centers in the league so far this season: Dwight, Gasol, Boogie, and... Spencer Hawes? 16 points and 14 boards with two blocks in 33 minutes tonight. Season stats: 13pts, 11.4 boards, 3.6 assists, 2.2 blocks.

Whatever the hell he did over the lockout, it worked.

You mean live up to his potential. I'm pissed that we gave up on him so soon. I knew he had it in him to be a difference maker in the nba.

In retrospect though, I don't think he would have improved a) the work ethic or b) how he was being used under Westphal as opposed to Doug Collins

Interesting stat mentioned by Bob Rathbun at the end of the CHI/ATL game: Hawks are the fifth team to play a back-to-back-to-back, and all five teams have won the third game.

... Well, it was interesting to me...

Memphis is just destroying the Knicks' offense. Held them to 52 points...in three quarters! What Tony Allen is doing out there is insane! Five steals already and a lot more deflections.
