[NBA] Comments that don't warrant a thread (APR)

The majority of Kings fans hated Davion and couldn't wait to be rid of him.

I'm not among that group, but I feel like there's receipts on enough people that did suddenly acting different.
The moral to this story is that if you’re a young point guard, De’Aaron Fox is going to do everything in his power to bury you/act like he can’t play with you lol.

He's tough on actual point guards and now he's effectively making a post season run with the Miami Heat. This organization, yikes

You have to remember though, the Heat have some preferred archetypes. This wouldn't be the first time they've gotten the most out of the Kings blunders, remember Hassan Whiteside? Davion perfectly fits that Mario Chalmers void I'm sure Riley has been trying to fill for ages.

To imagine an owner who lets his GM acquire players that fit together. We can only wish at this point

That archetype is "plays defense". What I've been trying to figure out for 20 years is why can't the Kings be a team that looks for and gets the most of this type of player too? We'll draft them and then they'll sit on the bench while we continue to lavishly dole out minutes to all of our terrible defenders and wonder why this team year after year can't defend anybody.

Landry Fields fired. Drafted a franchise level player, traded for a DPOY candidate and drafted a ROTY candidate. He gone

Yeah, truly infuriating. Just incredibly bad 3pt defense, giving up a million 3's to start the year...while Keon Ellis is rotting away on the bench. Get to the 4th, crunch time, watch guys like CJ McCollum go for 20+ in the 4th and OT, Simons hit 6 3's...while Keon Ellis doesn't get into the game that whole time.

This isn't to say that they wouldn't have cooked Keon either, or that Keon was perfect on defense 100% of the time. But we so often just shot ourselves in the foot defensively because we kept our best defensive player off the floor. Especially after we watched guards over and over again burn us in crunch time while Keon watched on the bench.

Most of the time I am reading these forums lately feels like is being spent wondering if the many of the people who post here even like basketball? Like, there are several posters whom, gun to my head, I couldn't tell you one thing they actually like about the sport, but I can tell you a bunch of things they don't like about it... I find myself curious as to whether a lot of these people actually like basketball, or do they just like giving takes about basketball?

I've seen some posters (possibly including a fellow mod whom shall remain nameless) essentially say that they wouldn't follow the NBA at all, if there weren't a team in Sacramento, so maybe there are a bunch of people who identify as Kings fans who don't actually like basketball, they just like rooting for the home team?

I feel like this statement can be said on every sports forum out there. Past, present, and future.
