Every preseason, the NBA promotes its Audio League Pass by letting people use it for free during that period. I usually enjoy being able to listen to games clearly on it, and while surfing the internet without have to pack around a radio/walkman. But this year, every time a Kings game is on and I try to listen to it, it just says "the game you are tuning into has not yet started." I can't get Kings on TV, I can't get them on the radio....this is really, really pissing me off. Does this happen to any of you?

Same here!!!! But, you can listen to ANY of the other games! isn't that great? Sanity says it is a conspiracy!!

you got anything to back that???

the damn thing didn't work last game either.

Doesn't matter. At all. Whether or not you're an Angels fan has no bearing whatsoever on whether or not you think the game was fixed, and the tone of your posts suggest that you do.

Where did you get that I thought the game was fixed??? LOL

I stated that the call was awful.

Find me something that says I thought it was fixed.

You are tripping.

You're the one that's tripping. I said it was a hunch; I didn't say it was an irrefutable fact... that's just the vibe that I, personally, get from you.

And, I said the tone of your posts suggest to me that you thought that the game was fixed. I never said that you actually typed the words, "the game was fixed." There's a big difference.

your statement right here suggests to the rest of the board that I think everything is a conspiracy.

hardly a fair assumption on your part.

^^ Slim, Sanity, you guys kill me...lol

Sanity is IMHO the leading expert in weird beers but that's probably about all, while Slim's posts can be sharper that the average army knife for no apparent rason....no doubt as the season gets underway i can look forward to more entertaining posts from you both :D lol

i enjoy reading slim's posts for his in-depth basketball knowledge that is always right on. I don't enjoy some of his attempts to find faults with everything posted on the board.

never tried it except for these games, but boy, if this free preview is supposed to convince us to invest in it during the regular season I'm not too impressed!

Its cheap, and i think it is good value for money (cant remember exactly how much, but didnt impact.

Reliability (or lack of it ) is a factor, but it only failed on me a handful of times, less than 10 out of the 80 or so games.

gracias, i'll have to find out how many days i'm working during games i could listen to and then calculate in the reliability factor.

I've had Audio League Pass for the past three years; I wouldn't go so far as to say it's "common," but it probably happens once every 20-25 games or so during the regular season. Never tried to listen to pre-season games before.

If the only reason you're thinking of paying for it is to listen to it while at work, you might want to check with your job's IT guys to make sure that it'll get past your company's firewall before you spend your money.

not your typical job.

i work with developmentally disabled adults, four of them to be exact.
i work at a house provided for them and am the only one here at night, my boss will probably pay for it anyways, he likes the guys here being into sports. i almost got him to get league pass, but he didn't bite.

I thought the same thing but as LK pointed out it's not expensive and it's better than nothing which is pretty much what I'm getting now.
Do they do interviews also? chelle,LK did they last year?

No interviews. They only broadcast the game itself. The broadcast cuts off as soon as the game is over.

Before last season, you could usually hear a postgame on-court interview from the KHTK player of the game. last year, it stopped the broadcast right after the game.
