Here are the rules , you pick the whole playoffs before playoffs actually start .

Example :

Let us assume that i picked the suns over lakers in 6 and the suns did win 4-2 over lakers

possible scenarios/ possible points

4-2 suns = 4 pts getting it exact
4-3 suns = 3 pts because you were off by 1 game
4-1 suns = 3 pts because you were off by 1 game
4-0 suns = 2 pts because you were off by 2 game
1 pt if you were off by 3 games

if you picked the lakers in any combination , you get 0 pts because you picked the wrong team !

What if you get the winner correct (pick Suns in 7) but are off by 3 (Suns win in 4)? Is that also 0 points?

That setup rewards people for choosing 5 or 6 games. I think you should have 1 point for the winner and a bonus point for picking the number of games.
