He also stated that he see's improvement in Hawes post game. He wants to continue to put him in the post, saying the only way to improve is to continue to go up against the better players in the league. Ditto Jason Thompson. He said he knows that they're going to make mistakes but its the best way to learn.
He also said that Hawes already has a good perimiter game, so there's no need for him to be spending all his time out there.
He stated that he's see's improvment in the team with the little things. He also wants to slow the game down in order to help Beno run the club better. He said that Beno has the ability, but has to make better decisions. He hopes that slowing things down will help him do that.
He said that the players are working their butts off so far for him and seem to be buying into the things he wants them to do. Which includes being on time for practices and buses etc.
Grant, or Mike, I forget, said that people are probably surprised about players being late. Natt said people would be surprised about a lot of things. He wouldn't divulge any more info in that area, but laughed about it. He didn't exactly say it, but implied that if you do the little things then the big things would follow.
Has Grant at any point in time gave his take on the trade talks/rumors about Salmons and/or Miller?

Sitting on the bench being ignored by the ex-head coach.Jesus, where has this guy been all year?!?!
And that folks is the line the coach should draw. What happens behind the scenes should stay behind the scenes between the coaching staff and the players. He hinted that their may be other things that we wouild be surprised about, but not what, and not who.
In my opinion Theus talked too much, divulged too much, and got too personal. I like the way Natt presents himself. He's very calm and collected sounding. His experience shines through in the way he talks and how he sounds while doing it. I feel that he very well could be our next coach.
As long as he continues to do the right things and develops our players to the best of his and their ability that's all that can be asked. He is an expereinced Assistant that probably deserves the shot.
