Just to clarify, a lot of websites are actually reducing or eliminating signatures that contain graphics, especially if they're animated, because they use up way too much bandwidth and can cause major problems with servers. In addition, they can take forever to download if the user isn't on a lightning fast computer. A successful website has to aim at the services that will most adequately meet the needs of the largest number of members, not what only the high-end computer owners with the fastest possible connection speed can appreciate.
