More woes for the Suns....

Steve Nash, practicing for the first time since suffering a bruised thigh in a game Friday, collided with Leandro Barbosa on Tuesday afternoon, injuring his back.

Nash was suffering from back spasms and is scheduled to undergo a magnetic resonance imaging test this afternoon.

Barbosa injured his left ankle and was on crutches. Details of the injuries were unavailable, but the status of both players is uncertain for Wednesday's home game against Memphis.
When it rains it pours I guess... time for the Kings to really focus and catch these guys.

Injuries are part of NBA. We had so many and we still have some. No symphaties from my side. Hopefully Suns continue losing.

This is a great time for the KIngs to come back in the standings. The Suns are without Nash AND Barbosa and the KIngs have a long home game stand. This is again a great oppurtunity for the KIngs.

Nash seems to inevitably begin to fall apart physicaly every year. Always something. If I were them I wouldn't be worried so much about any games he actually misses as much a I would trying to make sure he recovers 100% and is at full strength by playoff time. They aren't going to win the champinship anyway, but it would just have to be a letdown to have a breakout year and then get bounced in the first round.

Well, year after year I have said to my fellow Kings fans injuries are part of the game... just tough to see a team injure themslevs. Word of advice next game with Utha Pheonix ought to sit all their starters.

Agree on that! It's Nash's biggest knock... he always seems to wear down although it's usually later in the season when it happens. I remember hearing theories about his durability/health being negatively affected by his constant hand licking transferring all those icky germs from the ball into his system. :)

In any case, great PG, but you always kinda figure he won't make it the whole year.

Nash hurt his back in practice yesterday and now may be out a few more games. It happened when Barbosa stepped on his foot and he wrenched his back. The kicker is that Barbosa went out of the arena on crutches with a pretty bad sprained ankle and will also be out for awhile. Now Joe Johnson will start at point guard.....

Well if God is willing to punish us for an offhand remark from HndsmCelt, then either God is pretty petty or Hndsm is a lot more powerful than I thought. ;)

(easy for me to say since I don't beleive in himm either ;) )

God is a HE.

Off-topic, do you all believe in life after death or reincarnation?

I believe in God but I also believe in reincarnation...I was Albert Einstein. hehe
