More Bibby/Miller injury news

1) I've been hearing in a few places that Brad has a COMPLETE torn plantar fascia in his left foot...which makes the news even worse.

2) Bibby's wrist is injured and has been swelling on him at times, thus, his un Bibby-like performaces from the field this year.

When it rains, it pours.

Good thing we've got people that can pick up some of the slack.

* Martin is growing up ... fast.
* SAR can get us 20, if we use him.
* Artest seemed to learn a bit of what the post looked like.

We should weather the storm, but Bibby has to realize his wrist is hurt and do more of what he did last night against the Wolves. Penetrate and dish to an inside guy. That was nice to see.

If he can't help on offense with his shot (and he's still not that good on defense) ... he can still get his first step and pass.

Agree. It was nice to see Ron use his linebacker built body and go inside on them a good amount. He can still shoot his 3...just not 6 a game. lol

Yeah, Artest is our running back and needs to run (drive to the basket) we have the long pass (shooters) in Kevin, Bibby, and SAR can do both. Ron needs to realize this and keep pounding away drowing double, triple coverage and dish off to a teamate for a open lock.

Muss also needs to be smarter and use Bibby when we need him and not overwork the guy. He'd be overworked if he were healthy and evenmore now that he is playing injured. If we don't have Bibby we are in big trouble, we can live without Brad for awhile if SAR raises his game like he has been doing as well as K9 playing the "garbage man" role he is good at doing.

* Price is contributing more and more and is fearless
* Salmons is a punch off the bench Kings have needed since good ole JB
* Garcia is coming along, finally

Muss said post game that the coaches really appreciate Bibby playing with significant pain. He said they really need his composure and leadership out there. It hurts Bibby to catch and throw. Doesn't help the shot either.

Bibby just needs to take a week or two off!

seems like the logical thing to do at this point, why play through pain and risk being out for even longer this early in the season, we've only played four games its not life and death yet:confused:

was anybody watching the game last night?
they showed ron artests brother

that fool is twice as big as Ron....it was insane

as stated elsewhere, after tomorrow's game we are off until Sunday and then off until Wed. I hope he takes a rest and lets it heal.....

Martin has definitely been playing really well, and artest did great last game. But this is tough for the kings... if bibby really cant play, then but him on the reserve and bring back Douby :)

I didn''t, but I saw Martins brother. Who looked nothing like Kevin and was HUGE... Maybe that was Ron's brother and I misunderstood?

Oh you know what.. I thought the same thing when I saw that. They did say it was Kevins brother at first but then after that shot they said it was Ron's brother.

Ya, Ron's brother is freakin huge...My season tickets are about 4 seats away from where Ron's family sits at the games. When his brother walked up to the seats, everyone just stared because of how big he was....And if you think he is big, you should see Ron's cousin. The guy must weigh about 350, but not solid like Ron's brother..

"Brad has a COMPLETE torn plantar fascia"

If this is the case, how long would he be out??

The rest of the season. .... Yes... Its that bad.

A good friend of mine suffered that injury while she was playing professionally in her home country of Germany.

I was reading it was 4 weeks. Did something change?

It's 4 weeks if it's just as reported, a tear.

I've seen a couple published reports along with some inner sources that say 4 weeks is being extra nice and it's a complete tear, not partial as reported.

If it's a complete tear, he'll be out of action for quite a while. If it's what is being "reported", he should be back in a month or two.
