This team showed me a whole lot. And we learned a bunch.
7 Points when you are down by 26 at the Half??? And down by as much as 30.
LA should be glad that they got away with one.

The M's will lose this one, but considering they were down by 31 pts at one point late in the 1st half, they should not hang their heads.
Dear Sparks, you ain't gonna make it this year. You haven't got a dang thing on our Monarchs. In fact, you should be embarrassed that the Monarchs lost by only 7 pts.
Final Score: Sparks 81 and Monarchs 74.

Good thing I wasn't home to watch the first half. Although, I don't know what is worse. Actually watching the horrid performance, or listening to it while driving on the freeway. I could have had a serious case of road rage! The game was putting me on edge.
I made it home during half-time and was pleased with the second half comeback. Sometimes, Coach Whiz drives me insane with his rotations though. Buescher, Powell, and Miao really keyed the run that got us back in the game. I don't know why he put Maiga back in late in the game. She wasn't having a good night, and she replaced someone who was. At that point of the game we needed shooting, and they were playing pretty good defense.
I won't complain about the loss cause the Monarchs had such a nice comeback. But can I complain about the freakin' free throws?! Horrible. They were killing me with those misses! The only players who should be shooting them at this point are Erin, Ticha, and Nicole. They appear to be the only consistent ones.
