Mo Evans nba.com DUNK OF THE NIGHT

May have to change my opinion on him being invited to the dunk cntest if he keeps making a name for himself. No way he goes as a 10th man pinned to the bench, but as basically our 6th man, maybe he's established enough now.

Don;t think he is really designed for that though -- too mature to be messing around with showoff dunks. He hammers them home, but he never adds any sugar to potentially spoil things.

I second that. I think hes got some dunks up his sleeve and would probably go.

Thanks for the link. With this and the one before it, Grant is getting lots of natrional coverage of his patented "If you dont like that, you don't like NBA basketball" line.

MO Mo!

This guy is Gerald Wallace with poise and a great jumpshot. He is really gonna help us this year, and RA is obviously high on him as well.

i think he should be in the dunk contest...and he would to everyone else but kings fans he would be considered a sleeper...but him and Josh Smith i believe to be the highest jumpers in the league...fo sho

I think somebody forgot about The Gift, aka Lebron James. HE'S got the biggest springs in the league. It's unbelievable how much hangtime he gets. If he enters that contest (and it's entirely up to him. We all know Commish Stern is praying for that to happen), it's really going to be a moot point to have the contest. As much as I like Mo and as much as I want to see him be rewarded for his play by being invited to the Dunk Contest, I don't think too many people have that great of a chance. That is, of course, unless Mo plans to pull off some of they stuff they've got in this year's NBA Live Dunk Contest. That would be GREAT.

Lebrons got great hangtime...like you said but i don't think he can jump as high (up and down) as Mo or Josh but thats just MHO

Lebron could literally break his nose on the rim if he weren't paying attention! I know Mo Evans and Josh Smith both have tremendous hops, but I've watched both, and neither can get as high from what I've seen. JS get's awfully close though. But I think we can all agree that all 3 are fun to watch, right?

Or the toss off of the Jumbotron into a handspring into the Vince Carter arm-in-the-rim dunk... :D
