Bucknor rose to his feet and departed the field after being attended to by athletic trainers.

The athletic trainer immediately tapped his head to initiate an ABS challenge as to whether the ball actually hit Bucknor in the facemask

And perhaps they coveted the wrong prospect last season.

James Tibbs III has 7 HR, 13 RBI, and is batting .500 in 9 games in AAA

What makes it worse. He's not in the Boston system anymore…

Turns out sometime between the Devers “heist” and now….

Tibbs wound up in the Dodgers organization.

Hate the Dodgers all you want, they manage to keep pumping out talent from their minor league system and keep that system like top five in baseball year after year despite picking at the bottom of the draft every season. Everybody complains about the money they spend but the way the entire organization is built on the foundation of the minor leagues is underappreciated.
