Attending our first Cubs game in Chicago tonight. We pulled into a parking spot 15 min away from Wrigley at the exact same time as two SUVs. The license plates were from the same county in Iowa as us and it turns out they live in the same town haha. Two different groups from the same town in Iowa, four and a half hours from Chicago, pulled into the same 12 stall parking lot at the exact time, 4 hours before the game.

it was really awesome to see the field, I’ve been a fan my whole life and it brought back a lot of memories of my peak fandom (Sosa, Grace, Dunston, Sandberg and of course Harry and Steve Stone) we got third level seats which were great. The only downside was it was freezing up there. 55 degrees outside which would have been just fine but it felt like 25 with the wind and the cold air. We had coats and a blanket and still couldn’t get comfortable. We may need our Midwesterner card revoked as everyone else around us seems fine with no coats or blankets haha
