Mike Taylor

Mike Taylor was released by the Clips a few days ago. I remember watching him last season and the guy can really ball hes kinda a two guard trapped in a PGs body but I remember him being blindingly quick and pretty good on defense plus he's got MAD hops and can throw down some sick dunks. I think it would be a good move to pick him up to fill out the roster, what do you all think?

He sorta reminds me of Bobby Brown, so I think pass. It's an interesting cut on the Clippers' part, because he actually scored 35 pts this year, and you rarely cut someone like that who's that young and on a cheap contract--probably a combination of poor summer league play and roster clog did him in. Scoring undersized 2's are some of the easiest players to find, but his talent level will earn him a place in some team.

everytime i saw him last year he was ballin outta control. but i just dont think hed get the minutes now since we got enough guards

I like Taylor. I liked him in the summer league last year. He can play the point a little and he has blazing speed. The problem is that we simply don't have a place for him on our roster. He's a better shooter than Bobby Brown, by the way. Surprising cut based on last year. I thought he and Eric Gordon played well together last year. There must be some other problem we don't know about.

Don't need one. We have only one roster slot left and if it goes to anyone, it's a pretty safe bet it will go to someone to help bolster the middle.
