Mike Dunleavy has saved Clippers' fans and the NBA from a lot of drama over the next month.

"Clearly, we're taking Blake Griffin," Clippers General Manager and Coach Mike Dunleavy said in a telephone interview from Barcelona, Spain.

"This guy is the No. 1 pick. We're extremely excited. He's the guy."

That is a very strange little article -- the title says "Clippers considering Rubio", but then the little article doss nothing but speculate -- there is no evidence offered whatsoever that they actually are considering him. Certianly none to counter the clear and unequivocal "Griffin is the #1" statement by their GM.

Damn our luck though -- if we were just #3 all these sorts of rumors would put us right in the mix, and we would be guaranteed Thabeet if not Rubio. As is we are on the outside looking in and need something to come true or to make a bold move...for which we may have the wrong GM.
 
it would be a fiasco for them if they pass on blake.

i see them drafting blake THEN trading Baron davis back to the warriors for their pick and fillers.. and there they draft their point guard. Jrue or who ever

i see them moving randolph though.. a championship caliber team can use randolph. popovic can use him probably fix his attitude also all they have to do is endure 2 more years of Zebo

i see them moving bdiddy for magette and turiaf and 8th pick.. probably

but hey its the clippers the hell do i care about what they do :D

as long as they dont blow our chances on players we so covet
