Career high 40 points, and only ONE from behind the arc.

This is a special group of young men, fellow Kings fans. There's something in the air...and I'm lovin' it.

:D

im happy about the back to back career highs from the two guys that are suppose to carry us since the other three starters are out...im what else could you ask for

i don't even think he attempted a three until the last one he made...and i was saying in the game thread i kept expecting him to come down the floor and hoist one up...and he really never did....(til the end ofcourse) but i refused to believe that a game would go by and Mike wouldn't hit a 3

Could look at it this way: The three kept us from going into O.T.! It only takes one...point...off a three...

:D

mike came through and redeemed himself after shooting an awful 7/14 at the line :)

mike and brad just carried us.. and barnes came up BIG! gotta give him credit for those 2 stls, an assist and the 1made FT that was the game winner :)

Bibby has been playing more like a point guard since the Christie trade. I was kind of worried what would happen without his crutch of having someone else be the passer/playmaker, but he's been upping every stat minus those free throws.

There's only one word to say about Mike's game tonite ....

SCOREBOARD !!!

Actually there is another.....

Bibbalicious!!!!!!! as Jerry Reynolds would say.

That was a great game by Mike, He made me proud to say that he is my favorite player tonight......

he could have easily had 45, but i can understand the tired legs with all the PT due to the injuries

WTG MIKE!!!!!

KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!!!!!!

And the self proclaimed "best point gaurd in the NBA" had 37 points, dominated all but the last 4 min of the game, at which point he miised 2 key FTs and then promptly dissapeared.

Having the ghost of Penny Hardaway handle on those last two possessions rather than a scorching hot Marbury is one of those things that can get a coach fired when the wheels have completely fallen off for his team.

Are you saying things can actualy get worse for the Knicks?

Bibby is Clutch.

That catch and shoot for 3 was unbelievable. I can't believe people were actually arguing with me today about Bibbys clutch shooting. There are very few players in the league that have as much confidence in pressure situations than this guy. He is a straight up assasin!

WORD!!

Mike Bibby was clutch last night!! What a catch and shoot! That boy has ice in his veins!!

He struggled early with his FT but came back to hit 6-7 late..

Is Brad gonna put up with Bibby outdoing his career high performance the other night? Time to respond with 42pts Brad!

Wow, it sounds like they had quite a game last night. I wish I could have seen it :( I didn't even see the highlights from it. I just saw the scores and scorers flash by at the bottom of the TV and when I saw that score, Bibby and Brads scores I had to jump out my seat and yell. CONGRATS KINGS, BIBBY AND BRAD! Well done from what I hear! :) :) :)

I totally agree!! Unbelieveable 3 pointer by Bibby!

Congrats to Bibby on his career high!!!! GO BIBBSTER!!!

Out of all the Kings players, I definitely think Mike deserves to make his first all star team this year. He's just been playing phenomenal basketball (defensive woes aside) this year.

PROPS to Bibby for scoring 35 points and trying his hardest after posting a LOT of minutes in the books the last four games.

Yeah, I agree. Bibby kept us in the game. He has had one heck of a week. He deserves to be a leading canditate for Player of the Week, and deserves to be on the All-Star team.

If I'm not mistaken, should Mike be player of the week that would make 3 weeks in a row that a different King had that honor. That would be cool!

yeah.. bibby should atleast be considered to be an allstar reserve.. i've been hearing all these "analysts" pick manu over and over again because "he's an exciting player" and because "the spurs need to have 2 allstars" [[rolls eyes]]

they never mention mike..

but if you look at the numbers, you could definitely argue mike's case..

webb was actually player of the month (not week --better, though ;) )
brad was player of the week

and if mike gets the nod this week, then that would make 2 weeks in a row..

earlier, i saw the stat on the espnnews ticker.. it says mike averages 26.2 ppg the last 5 games (not including tonight)

so he should definitely be in the running for POTW..

Mike is and will always be one of the most clutch players in the NBA...and he's even more deadly come playoff time

LOVE Mike

woohoo!
