Wave it off, he carried the ball at the three-point line!
I think the quote was that we had him rated as a mid-first rounder. I love the pick... great athlete, coaches son, could've gone to a big program and possibly blown up but played for dad instead.I think D'Allesandro is was super high on McCallum. Remember he is from the same regime that got Lawson, Faried, Fournier(he will be a player in this league). I have no doubt he was high on the Nuggets board for their 2nd round pick, likely as a potential replacement for Andre Miller in the 2nd unit.

This kid has some potential. Has a solid size and build. Just need to develop him correctly, something that we haven't been doing with our young players in the recent years.
This dunk was alright, but not really a big deal. He didn't really get up that high and the guy was coming off the side to challenge. Never had the angle to do anything really.
Dee Brown said that both rookies will be his babies this season. Not only to help them develop properly as players, but also in all the other areas that they need help adjusting with. This is something the Kings haven't had in a long time, a coach dedicated simply to helping the young players develop on and off the court.

Wasn't that Clifford Ray's role with DeMarcus last year though?

No. Clifford Ray was the big man coach for the entire team (helped JT out quite a bit IMO). He wasn't there to take the young players under his wing (so to speak).
