Marvin Williams

Two NBA general
managers said the Hawks are shopping Williams. Williams, however, has
$16.8 million guaranteed through next season and a team option of $8.8
million for the 2012-13 season.

He is a interesting player.....underated , can play 3 different position(SG,SF,PF).

I think he still have a chance to proven he is better than josh smith,

the talent is still there and with some promise, could we bring him to sactown?

nice ball handing for SF,can shoot ball, play with team basketball....

That's a tough contract to swallow at this point in time, even with the cap room. That's an albatross now, and who knows what it would look like under the new CBA.

The world's most medicore softie. There are reasons why he is being shopped, and why there are no takers at that price. WIht all our cap room we shoudl be able to do considerably better.

The dude is a 30% shooter from 3 pt range. He does have a decent mid-range game, but whomever we get needs to be able to shoot from outside, or, play lockdown defense. I don't think he fits either description.

There are a lot of veteran players I'd rather have at SF than Marvin Williams. In fact, I'd take Derrick Williams of Arizona over Marvin Williams right now.
