I truly believe he has some sort of deal with Samueli that if he gets the Kings there then Samueli will help him get back the Palms or another venture in Vegas.

yeah probably has a sweet deal lined up with Samueli, with eventual plans to sell the team to Samueli. Maloofs owe people a lot of money.
We really can't build an arena without the owners on board. wish the Maloofs will just sell the team and get this over with.

1 billion ? probably yes a few years ago, but definitely not now. They lost their beer distribution, the Palms casino, and they owe Sacramento and the NBA millions of dollars.

This was about 8-10 years ago. Of that list, the Kings are all that is left that is viable. The rest is either sold off or has diminished to near nothing.
