Marc Spears: Boogie Making a Difference During Holidays

It amazes me that a person such as Boogie can be such a realist and mature human being off the court, but on the court has difficulty handling his emotions. Regardless, the message of this is very positive and every single person should take the message as personal. Our jobs tend to rule our lives, along with focusing on things we "want," that we forget about the people around us. Let us remember to always care about our loved ones and to make sure that they know it!

Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays to all!

Good for him and none of it seems contrived or like there is some angle to any of this. You can say what you like about his on court demeaner and actions, and most of it is warranted, but off the court he is a great person with a big heart. I know a girl who knows him from college and still to this day and she speaks very highly of him and calls him "a big teddy bear"

“Why do I do this? That is reality to me,” Cousins said. “Excuse my French, but this [expletive] that everybody feeds off with the whole basketball world, it’s a fantasy and it’s short-lived. The impact I have on [the Clavo] family is forever. It’s the right thing to do.”

Does this sound like the crazy person that most mainstream media wants the public to think Cousins is? He is actually one of the rare down to earth young, rich athletes out there. Many put on a good guy face in front of the camera but are a-holes off it.
