Hubie Brown was old the last time they had him on. If they REALLY put a 90 year old as a broadcaster then ESPN has definitely hit rock bottom.

We have an excellent broadcaster. And Stephen A is a ******. Espn would be better off without him (for the last 10 years at least).

I look at Mark being able to do more Kings games as a PROMOTION, instead of a demotion. Being able to call more games of the next "Greatest Show on Court" is definitely an upgrade for any announcer!!!

if there was a problem get rid of Stephen A. I'm sure when he retires ESPN will have no problem finding another blowhard that can do the same schtick.

Hopefully it doesn't mean less Draper though. Drapers style is better for a home broadcast team IMO. Mark is national style all the way and definitely one of the best. There's certainly an art to being a tolerable local call person that goes against almost everything Jones is good at.

Exactly. Honestly he only needs to nominally be an Espn commentator for the Kings purposes (lends clout to org).
