Is he a cancer? Every team he leaves gets instantly better the next year.... for example the Wolves and Suns..... i think its time for the Knicks to tell him peace out

Hard to say, in my opinion. I think his idea (same with AI) that a scoring Point Guard can be the dominant player on a team is flawed. The PG needs to be more of a play-maker, than a shot-taker. Certainly, a PG needs to take and make shots, but if the guy with the ball never lets go of the ball, what's the point; you will NEVER win a championship.

I would sooner have my toenails pulled out through my nostrils than have FSM on the Kings.

I cannot imagine a scenario where he would HELP restore the team chemistry of the Kings. We already have Bibby and Bobby. Having someone like Marbury would not, IMHO, do use any good at all.

Why does it always have to resort to the use of the "hate" word? It's not about hating him. It's about whether or not I would like to see him in Kings purple. I wouldn't.

Well, his nickname is FSM; assuming that stands for what I think it does, I get the impression he's been singled out as an unlikable player.

I didn't coin that. Someone else on the board did...

One of the most common complaints about Marbury is that he's a selfish player. People went nuts about Mobley because they perceived HIM to be selfish, when he actually seemed to be to be trying to find a niche.

I don't see Marbury adding anything positive to the Kings. Right now I think that has to be a consideration, especially when the team is still trying to figure out who they are.

Oh, hell no!

he said that in regards to my first comment of every team he leaves gets better the next year.....

and Starbury is a selfish player i would not want him on the Kings. He has skills no doubt but hes way to overpriced and not a good fit in a system where selfishness is not an issue...

Marbury's a good player..........when he wants to be. Problem is when there is too much ego-stroking going on in that melon of a head he has, that's when teams decide to get rid of him. For all the skills in the world he's never made any teammate better.

Better defender than Bibby and a much better passer than Bibby also. I would do this trade but Isiah wouldn't.

Neither would Petrie for that matter.
Same guy who may have scored 37 but gave up 40 against. Called himself "the best PG in the league" and the team went 3-15 for the month of January.

Marbury? on the Kings?.......I don't even want to begin to see what that would be like.

yea that's what HE meant,;) get him for one year so we can get rings the next.

The Marbury myth is entirely a creation of Slam magazine and Scoop Jackson, which is perpetuated by blowhards like Stephen A. Smith. I never want to see him in a Kings uni.

thats true.... because phoenix sucked when he left.... nash made that team go and few others could have done that....

IMO Marbury should of never left Minnesota...I mean and he complained about not being happy cuz he was so far away from his family...he gets his wish..he gets traded to NJ which is just a hop skip and a jump away from where he grew up...and that NJ team sucks and then he gets traded to Phoenix and I never heard him complain once about the trade taking him away from his family again not to mention that team sucked as well...and then he gets traded to the NYK which for him is a childhood dream come true and in that way I'm happy for him but come on...

I will say to his credit though that that NYK team last year would of never made it to the POs if it weren't for him and that trade...
