I posted the following in the Monarch's forum, but I realize that not everyone here reads that forum, so I thought I would re-post it here for all our members to see.


This year's Maloof's Annual Report features several season ticket holders (of both the Kings and the Monarchs) who exhibit the "Charitable Spirit of Sacramento." Our own nancgo is prominently featured in this report.

Congratulations, nancgo, for being chosen by the Maloof Organization to be recognized in this way. We are proud of you!!!

For those who do not know, nancgo is a member of the Luekemia Society's Team in Training Cycle Team. They raise money in cycling events for the Society.

nancgo, I will save my copy of the Maloofs Annual Report for you, in case you would like extra copies for family members.

Garsh....thanks everyone.....!

We all try to do what we can, and I'm doing something I like...and a nicer benefit is helping others. This cycling thing started out as a rather selfish hobby, but quickly turned into a positive endeavor. It wasn't as difficult as I thought it would initially be, so I encourage everyone to volunteer if they are able. I'm in pretty decent health, so I do what I can. And other cool thing is all the great people who are involved too. I have a wonderful network of new friends who I can call for anything.

(PS Next year I think I'll also be doing the SF to LA (yes....500+ miles) AIDS Lifecycle Ride. I know a couple of folks who have done this one, and it sounds like fun! Don't worry, I'll let you all know about it too!!!)
