Major kudos to KingsFans cstorm for design and layout of our banner.

The invisible banner was a work of art. Printed on a 10' long x 2.5' high heavy vinyl roll we tried to bring into Staples but the Staples Taliban took it from us. God forbid there should be excited fans at Staples much less KingsFans out doing Clips fans.

cstorm took care of everything. All I did was find a banner maker down here and he emailed them the hi res graphic that I picked up couple days later.

Now if someone from Sacramento made a white panel to cover up the words "Southern California Chapter" we could LOAN it to a NorCal type for display at a Kings game??? :D

Or better yet, give us KingsFans down here credit, and use it as is. Someone needs to see our work of art.

That wasn't the issue -- we weren't informed these things were going to be a problem till we were right at the door. At that point trying to go back and smuggle them in wasn't really an option. Who would have ever thought you wouldn't be able to bring signs to a professional sporting event? Of course the cow bells wouldn't have made it past the metal detectors, but the "no thundersticks" rule was just ridiculous. They didn't even drop any before/during the game. I bet Donald Sterling is too cheap to print them out with Clippers logos on them. Maybe they could get half-price on some left over Lakers ones.

Great work, cstorm! I was there and fortunate enough to get to see it. It was a thing of beauty.

No comment on the no-fun nazis at Staples. Oops, I just made a comment didn't I? ;) But the rules appear to be enforced for Clippers fans as much as us. It was a library in there, until we started getting really loud in the second half. That finally got some noise out of the Clippers fans. Which is sad, when you think about it. I remember some games at Arco last year, where the home crowd was just like that. :(
