I hope you're joking. Those stats are completely meaningless. Jamal Sampson is a better player than Luke and look how well Sampson is doing or should I say look at how much Sampson is playing.

"The Chicago Bulls today re-signed rookie Luke Schenscher to a second 10-day contract. The 7-1, 265-pound center has appeared in five games since joining Chicago on March 5 from the D-League’s Fort Worth Flyers. With the Bulls he has averaged 2.8 ppg and 1.6 rpg in 8.6 mpg while shooting .778 from the field."

"Luke Schenscher, who has played sparingly, will get another (Bulls) 10-day contract Wednesday. Asked what he was doing well so far, Schenscher deadpanned: "I guess cheering well on the bench."

There's a reason why he was cut from both the Kings and the Nuggets.

Yall are crazy then. I would take Schenscher over Sampson. His cheerleading qualities of naturually looking like a mascot obviously far outweight Sampson's.

Judging by his time in Charlotte last year (saw some of it through Nets/Knicks games), Sampson's athletic, a shot-blocker, a better rebounder, not too much offensively though. Schenscher has the size and offense on him.

Schenscher Continues To Impress Skiles20th March, 2006 - 2:11 amChicago Tribune - Coach Scott Skiles was impressed that Luke Schenscher played against Washington on Sunday despite a sprained right ankle, which was black and blue.

"There's an awful lot of guys in the league who would be out half a season with the ankle sprain that he has," Skiles said. "And he's still playing hard. I like the way he's playing."

Enter overused Napoleon Dynamite line here (" ")
You know, as a former Techie and someone who likes the kid, I have been avoiding this thread because I expected some sort of cheesy Napoleon Dynamite comparison.

I'd say that I wasn't disappointed, but that would be a poor choice of words...
