'Lost'

VF21 has inspired me to confess my obsession with the TV show, 'Lost'. Right now I'm sitting here wishing so bad that it was Wednesday so that I could get my fix. And whenever it isn't on that week because of some stupid special or whatever, I'm like, "Ahhggh!!" I usually am never addicted to any TV, but not this season! Last week ended so creepy and suspenseful! What is Ethan up to anyway?

Any other obsessed fans out there? :D

I watched it once and couldn't stand it. The over-acting, IMHO, was much worse than anything you see on the reality shows.

Maybe that's it - I'm so addicted to "REAL" reality shows this one just seems like a rip-off. How's that for reverse thinking?

;)

maybe it's kind of a "reality is so much more interesting, why should I watch fiction anymore??" attitude? Now that would explain why series and sitcom creators get so freaked out by the reality-show movement. That might also explain why so many celebrities now are doing reality shows ala "The Osbournes".

Ah HA! I haven't seen it, but by glancing at it... I assumed it was a reality show.

There was one Wednesday that they did a Kings game over Lost on News10. ;)

I love watching this show too. Each week gets only better. :)

Yes, but in that case they just ran that week's episode of 'Lost' on Sat., I believe. Other times that hasn't happened and we have to wait a whole week to see the next episode! ;)

i like the show..but i lie it better when i know what happens in future shows....

Spoilers are great :>

I'm not obsessed yet...I do like LOST, especially the first couple of episodes when they fought against the nature, polar bear, unknown monster.... and by the way, Jack is HOT :p

I like CSI, Law and Order, The West Wing, 24, Monk, etc. I may have not been fair to the show by judging it solely on the first episode, but I didn't quit watching because I don't enjoy fiction. ;)

I didn't watch again because, IMHO, the acting was atrocious.

I like it too. What the heck did Kate do? I hate it when they tell you everything except what you want to know.

I haven't read any spoilers, but initially I had a theory that they all actually died in the crash. But the having a baby thing kind of blew that out of the water. Would have been cool though.

The only show I am eager to watch on Wednesday is 'America's Next Top Model'.

As for 'Lost', I have only seen one episode...and after that I gave up. LOL

I never found out what happened to that French woman who was finally tracked down through her signals. I had taped the episode, but the last couple minutes didn't record, so three weeks later I still don't know!

OH MY GOSH, me too!!!!! I LOVE that show. For some reason, I started watching it this year, and I have become obsessed.

To show I'm not a total girly-girl, I also love CSI, (IMO, the only one worth watching as NY and Miami have terrible actors; only the original cast show doesn't feel as if you're watching people act, it feels real) Law and Order:SVU (IMO, the only one, by the way, the original has become too predictable - unless you watch reruns on TNT, and I can't stand the lead guy on Criminal Intent).

I also enjoy some basketball games now and then. ;)

news flash for 'Lost' fans: tonight is the last new episode of this year, and it's a cliffhanger. The rest of the month will be re-runs. Good for me as I didn't see a lot of the early episodes, I only saw the pilot and then caught up with it mid-season.

All right-hibernation is over!! What did you other fans think of this week's new episode? I think the show is just getting better and better, hopefully it will remain that way. And Sawyer just keeps looking hotter...heh. I want Ethan to come back, he was creepy. It would seem odd if he doesn't since he seems to be the main tie to that weird metal thing in the ground.

I missed it! I hope they replay it on Saturday! I looked down on this show in the beginning. I mean, really, a Polar Bear? But it is SO strange that it is interesting. The twists and imagination to the storyline is interesting. Kinda like X-files. But honestly, as long as this show is successful, these folks are gonna be Lost! I read that it had the same writer or creator as the Alias show, some kind of connection that I forgot exactly.

The only other show that is remotely interesting to me right now is Boston Legal. Now there's a funny show! (oh and Good Eats, but that's another show.)

I do love Lost...but how long is the pregnant lady going to be missing??? I am definately hooked! And I agree with you RoyalDiva about Sawyer!! They need to increase his airtime. :)

The other shows I like this season are Boston Legal-it is hilarious, and I think it will only get better with Candace Bergen on the show now, and Desperate Housewives.

Umm..until the season is almost over?? Come on, it's the biggest cliff-hanger so far, so they're not going to end it soon! And now with the previews showing Shannon (is that her name?) getting swooped up by something in the forest, there's something around every corner.

Looks like we have finally found out which character is going to bite the dust this season?? And I knew all along it would be Boone! Of all the characters, he is the most expendable. The other characters simply have too much going on in their storylines to be out. But we've still got next week to find out if I'm correct. I heard the executive producer be interviewed on the radio yesterday, and he pretty much confirmed that someone would not be making it to next season.

Oh that sucks. I like Boone! :(

Yeah, but his storyline pretty much went nowhere. And now with his "sister" Shannon romancing Sayad, even more so. Apparently, the actor playing him understandably wasn't happy about his diminished role.

yeah boone's character has no real story.....i missed the ending of the episode...i saw the point that he was ranting to the container then a glow of light appear what happended next?

Iggy said:
that was it...no nothing...he did;nt say anything about the light?

Nope. That's for future episodes, I guess. Now it appears that the whole 'object' and light are directly related to Locke somehow and not anyone else. At least that's my theory.
