Letter to the Kings

Dear Kings (anyone not named Demarcus Cousins),

I think you owe every single Kings fan an explanation for tonight's game. You want us to support you and you do something like that? I've seen better effort from little girls on the playground than what I saw from you tonight.

Where's the communication? Where's the hustle? Where's the team play? WHERE'S THE FREAKING PRIDE? It may be your name on the back of the jersey but it's our hometown on the front. I'd really appreciate it if you didn't drag it through the mud.

I've been a Kings fan since 1985. I've seen some really bad teams over the years and I've seen the team that should have won the 2002 WCF. What I saw tonight was just abysmal. I cheer for you guys for free. The least you could do is at least look like you're trying to earn your salary.

I am a very disappointed Kings fan.

The blame should go on Cousins too. He was going to score at will in his sleep anyways against this frontline, but his effort on the other end was terrible.

It wasn't terrible. had a block and he contested drives. That's not terrible. he was bad, but not terrible. Terrible is the wrong word.

Cousins had 31/16. Was it his best effort? Oh, hell no...but I think he probably got a little tired of carrying the whole rest of the bleeping team on his back. Sorry, dude...I know you love to bag on DMC, but I'm not buying it.

I think some blame falls on Malone as well. The substitutions were just weird. Guys also played lazy, Carl Landry gave up with open dunks twice, once to Olynyk who just came running in for a putback (actually that time it wasn't so clear who's fault it was) and the other time nobody picks up Sullinger at all. Terrible effort. Also don't like IT's little play trying to act all badass and standing on top of Bayless after the foul. Getting sick and tired of his pullup 3s and hero ball. Getting to a point where I can call when he's going to pullup for 3.

I haven't bagged on Cousins once this season dude, I did before this season(and for good reason). He was going to destroy the Celtics frontline on one leg, but he let Sullinger work him down low on the other end and have a career night.

Well...this definitely did not help any Rondo trade chances. Where's that conspiracy guy? The idea that they were intentionally trying to be bad to avoid a trade might help me sleep at night. Any other explanation might keep me UP at night.

Dude, I mentioned it in the game thread. They apparently (in my mind, at least) went out to dinner before the game and got some bad clams. It's the only explanation that makes sense. :)

The whole team every single player has to actually take pride in playing BOTH ENDS, enough of this chucking shots at one end and giving next to nothing at the other. How many losing seasons does it take for them to realise you have to play hard.

We looked like a team trying to tank pretending to be playing hard by only doing stuff at one end. Everyone single player should take what they got given in terms of $ cause they didn't earn it and go donate it to a worthy cause.

Same as the end of the last game. Player starting out of position. Outlaw has no clue at sg. Or Williams.

Boston could say the same thing had Bradley/Rondo played. Today was a loss cause of only 1 reason effort.
2 reasons actually, effort and substitutions. We will never know is smarter substitutions would have given us the W but playing small hurt us on the boards and allowed the guards to get locked down.

Put my name down as well.

DMC said he was distracted. I wonder if it had anything to do with how the team played tonight. Is there a trade in the works?

Maybe it had to do with Adam Silver Selecting Anthony Davis to Replace injured Kobe instead of him

Is it bad I wanted to see Bayless tear his head off? I've wanted to all season.

How does this comment make a lick of sense?

You think the only time Ainge can see the Kings play is when they are in Boston? Have you heard of television?

Ainge seemed in deep concentration. A lot of looking at the floor and conversation with whomever that was in front him. Also after watching Wallace last night if we shed MT and Landry in the process I'd take Wallace.

Maybe he had gas.
