Last season you could watch the games on NBA broadband, but even on my pretty-fast internet connection it was almost impossible to watch a full game without it cutting out. If you're on a T1 it's probably great -- I was on a cable modem and it was spotty.

While we're discussing league pass, does anyone in the Bay area know when Comcast is going to start showing League Pass games?

If you purchase league pass than you can watch all the games live on nba.com as well, but you can't purchase it seperately.

As in cutting out like do you meen the whole game or just some parts.. Cause up in Canada I only get about 20 Kings games a year and I would like to see a full season.

Your best bet is to buy the games on Google Video... at $2.95/game this could end up being a bit expensive for the whole year -- and the games aren't posted on the site until a day or two after they've been played.

It was more that I had to refresh a lot and it took a long time to buffer. It got really annoying.

I watched several WNBA games on NBA Broadband this summer and had no problems at all.

I have comcast btw. 768kb/sec

I know the first game of the season is only going to be televised by news10 which i dont get here where i live, but i also see that league pass is going to be free for the first week of the season, So that saves me a trip to the next county where they recieve sacramento stations. If i didnt get csn west i would definately purchase league pass.

I have 16mbit (~1,8mb/s) DSL here, but really don't know if my connection is fast enough for broadband NBA (connection Germany -> USA)

somebody with experiences?

You can't get it anyway. The only way you can subscribe for NBA LeaguePass broadband is as an extension of your regular LeaguePass subscription, which I don't believe is available in Europe.

Yeah i think you have to be able to actually get league pass so you would need Dish or DirectTV and if you had those you wouldn't need to watch via NBA.com.

You have to purchase League Pass via either your cable provider or DishNet or DirecTV first. Then, and only then, can you access the NBA Broadband service.

That's not a guess. It's cold, hard fact.

:)

Terrible method

It really sucks watching the games a day or two later. You have to avoid scores, articles, etc.

For people living in the Bay Area, Comcast seems to have gotten its act together and the Kings game is televised tonight on League Pass.
