Catchings, Lawson, Milton-Jones fill out US roster

Lawson, who averages 10.5 points for Sacramento, will be making her first Olympic appearance. She will provide depth in a crowded backcourt of Sue Bird, Katie Smith, Diana Taurasi, Seimone Augustus and Cappie Pondexter.

Happy for Kara (and happy for us that we actually have a participant in the Beijing games)! Now every team in the Western Conference will have at least one representative in the Olympics. Hopefully this stint inspires her to come back and really take over this team offensively.

KARA LAWSON AN OLYMPIAN!!!!!!!! I really did not think they would select her, mostly political, some just of athletic and competitive fit. But I am thrilled for her, and hopes she represents her family and the region of Sacramento proud.
