You are right Slugking50....There are many groups that purchase blocks of tickets. Then they give them away, it's up to those folks to come to the game & many don't. So as you said, 17,000 No...sold or gave away 17,000 Yes. It's still really cool to at least fill up the lower level. In some arenas you see tons of lower empty seats.
