As many of you know, my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer in Dec. 2004. She has gone through surgery and treatment and, thankfully, her checkups have been A-OK!
I participated in the Komen Race last year in celebration of my mom and this year she is coming to Sacramento and joining me in the race. It will be extra special for me as it is held on Mother's Day weekend and this will be the first Mother's Day with my mom since I moved to Sacramento 10 years ago!
Here is a link to my personal page where people can pledge support for the Race. http://krftc.sackomen.org/site/TR?px=1163567&pg=personal&fr_id=1000 (That's the only pic. on my computer of me and my mom...sorry for the Laker gear.)
Thanks to my friends here at KF for your support and prayers for my mom while she was going through her treatment. I've told her all about this place and the caring people I've met here.
Thank you.
