As wack as that would be, it's better than going 33-49 and picking 11th.
This isn't going to be a year full of victories, with or without Kevin Martin. I never root for my team to lose, even when they have something to gain from it, but I do understand that it's more productive for us to have a 20 win season and pick high in the draft, even at #4, than to look a little better and win 30+, but pick in the low teens. I'm resigned to the fact that this isn't our year.

Kevin Martin is way too soft. He is so fragile and that sucks because he won't play through injuries. Somebody needs to show Kevin a video of Mike Miller playing with a dislocated arm, that was tough. You hold your breath whenever he takes a tumble. I mean these guys are full grown nba players, they shouldn't be getting injured so much.!! its frustrating.
You might want to know what you're talking about before you come and post a bunch of stuff like that. Martin DID want to play but he was convinced by team management and medical personnel that it would be foolish to try to do so because of the potential for greater harm.
Feel free to throw the soft label on him, if you like, as you're not the first to do so and will not be the last but you might want to have your facts straight when you do so.

I think that might change tonight. I suspect Sloan will have his team ready, willing and able to "welcome" Evans to the NBA.
As a partial aside, the Utah Jazz is still the team that overall scares me the most whenever we play them. Along with Denver and Detroit, they always just seem more inclined to foul for the sake of fouling more often than not. (The statistics might not bear out my observation...)

Not his game -- never hurts to learn extra stuff of whatever type but he is more talented than that and really doesn't seem to need anybody to help get him open.
Now if we still had Salmons around, daily layup lessons on the other hand might be warranted.

We all know he can get by smaller PGs easily..I think its going to show alot about Tyreke's game now that he is going to be covered by a SG everygame. Hes going to have to do more back door cuts, use screens, and move without the ball. Hes not going to be able to just rely on his crossovers and strength, cuz i dont think its going to cut it as easily against defenders that are a similar size as him.
I also think a floater would be deadly in Tyreke offensive arsenal.
But yah I agree he should watch some Salmons tapes, that dude was the master of layups.

Martin Undergoes Successful Surgery
SACRAMENTO, CA, November 9, 2009 ---- Sacramento Kings guard Kevin Martin underwent successful surgery today at the UC Davis Medical Center to repair a hairline fracture of the navicular bone in his left wrist. Dr. Robert Szabo performed the procedure.
Martin is currently in recovery and will be released later today. He is expected to miss a minimum of eight weeks.
