KingsFans Fantasy Basketball 2012 (Weekly)

So it looks like fantasy basketball is back. I've been the commish of this league for awhile now but I'll be super busy over the next month or two so if any longstanding member would like to help out by taking over the duties this season (or full time) please let me know. Otherwise I'll restart the league and post info some time in the next week.

Cool... looks like it's been a few years since you were in this league but you were on my list of people to try to woo back a couple years ago.

I renewed the league on Yahoo already and within a day or so 13 of the 16 managers from last year signed up so the only thing you have to do is make sure that we have an even number of people by draft time and handle requests from new people to join the league.

I'll send you the password in a PM and once you're signed up on Yahoo I can give you commish powers. Thanks for helping out!
 
np man, glad i can help. I just made my team, "iLLmatic". I'll work towards getting the rest of the managers all signed up!

For purposes of fantasy season planning, need to know if we are goign to try the bidding draft league again this season, or if everybody has been so demoralized by my crushing victory last year that they don't even want to pay anymore.

I restarted that league on Yahoo earlier today. You should already have an invite. Lemme know if you need a password.
 
Ok, so me and Uolj both decided that we are going to go ahead and start the league with the 14 teams that have signed up so far. I just generated a Random draft order and these were the results.. (I hope no one thinks its suspicious I won the first pick :S, you will see under the Leagues "Recent Updates" it was a "Random" draft order.) Good luck everyone and see you all draft day!

That's cool. I'm not complaining, I just prefer not knowing where I'm picking until draft day. The mystery makes it harder to prepare, and therefore kinda levels the playing field. Kinda like our old "waiver" rules in our football league, I think this benefits the active players moreso than the passive players

True, and I agree with you. Perhaps next year we will go back to the old format. :)


Also, I just wanted to remind everyone the draft is in 3 days!! This Saturday at 4:15 PDT! Brace Yourselves!! :)
