It really is not a big deal. The whole idea is just to keep track so that we can let Players Sports Bar and Grill know approx how many of our group to expect.

They don't have a room to reserve or anything anyway, it's one big room, the bar area and the patio area, although that won't be a problem. Early Sunday game, they aren't expecting a big crowd that day, so plenty of seating, especially if we get there a half hour or so before tip off.
Also, minors ARE allowed, just not in the bar area.

Thanks for the info, Kg. I hope to be there real early. Can we maybe decorate a table (simply) near the door for people to check in (i.e. identify themselves as KingsFans.com members or guests and get a name tag?
 
I don't see a problem with grabbing the table closest to the door and setting up some sort of sign-up thingy. I'll run everything by Jeff when I see him sometime this week.
 
C'mon, Kings fans. We have been having a real rough time, and so has our team. Let's get together.....give each other moral support....and cheer loudly in one unified voice for OUR...

OK, apparently I was wrong (mark it down, I don't like to admit it much, so it may be your last chance;) ) I CAN reserve for a party. We are now in total control of the center tables of Players (in front of the HUGE screen and multiple littler TVs) They will put down table cloths for us and we can decorate to our little hearts content. Also a go on the cake (they DO offer chocolate ice cream if we desire) I could have ordered a selection of food, but I am not made of money (far from it:p ) so everyone will have to be responsible for their own food and drink (except of course, the cake, which Arwen is graciously bringing)

Hoopsfan, I got you a LOVELY table in a dark corner in the back, conveniently located next to the arcade games and the rest rooms. I have a reputation to uphold, you know;)

Ditto. As I previously mentioned to 6th, it falls precisely on an impossible day for me. I would have really liked the chance to put faces on the names I've gotten to know around this place. And it sounds like it's really going to be good fun to boot.

ya' heard about that huh? It seems that some good people went out of their way to make plans for me that day, it's kind of fitting that I should be somewhere in the vicinity. ;)

I have no idea. I cannot think about the Oscars when there are Kings games to be played. ;)

Am on my way after work tomorrow. Will fly out of St Louis on Thurs morning. Looking forward to the KingsFans.com "get-together" on Sunday.

If you have not signed up...try and do so for Kg's count. However, if you do not sign up, do not let that stop you from showing up at Players by 3 p.m. on Sunday.
 
The count, at this point, is of no matter. Players is reserved and expecting a round number of 30 or so. Come one, come all, plenty of room.

Sounds good to me, Kg. I am really excited about cheering with friends for a Kings game instead of cheering at home alone. :)
