I have tried to give the Kings the benefit of the doubt this year, but they have the worst defense in the NBA and their offense is the most difficult to watch. The spacing of the offense and lack of rotation/help defense make it tough to watch. The GSW have a team full of NBADL scrubs and show more heart than the Kings who have a supposed pleathera of young talent. What do you guys think?

Starting a thread about the Kings being the worst team in the NBA and it being only your 3rd post!?

This won't go well......

well, I have been patrolling these boards for years and just wanted to put in my 2 cents. If anyone thinks the Kings are not the worst team, then speak up......oh, and please no jokes about paTROLLing on the boards.....I love the Kings, but need to call it like I see it.

To say they are the wrost team in the NBA is being overly dramatic and reactionary after a bad loss. Did you forget the game on Wednesday, or do you just like to focus on the negative?

To say this team hasn't shown heart is ridiculous. They are a young team. They are learning to play together, and it's not going to happen overnight. You're going to see flashes of brilliance, and flashes of horrid play. It's just how it goes. They have some deficiancies that need to be addressed, yes. But we're still int he middle of building, and Petrie and the rest of the front office isn't done yet.

So, if all of this bounces off your head, and you are tunnel visioned, then stop being a Kings fan. Go somewhere else, and be a fan of another team. It would be the best for all of us.

I think the nets are, I like brook lopez thats all they got.

what baffles me about the "glass half full" fans, is that they fail to see the light. Spence/JT are possibly to 2 worst PF/C tandems in the league. How could a team like the GSW play better against Portland w/ 8 players and Sac gets blown out. BTW, could Westphal tell Reke to pass to the open man on a fast break, instead of bowling over 3 people in the lane....plus get a jump shot Reke...when JT has a better jumper than you it is time to practice.

I dont know about calling them the worst frontcourt tandem in the league.. but even if we accept that premise you have to take into account that the now isn't necessarily the most important. if you're referring to them being the worst matched frontcourt in the league then thats one thing but you have to understand that Jason Thompson is in his second year averaging 12.5 and 8.5.. thats pretty spiffy really. Hawes is putting up 10 and 6 in his third year to go alogn with 2ast and a block.. keeping in mind that the kid is turning 22 next month I think that they are solid prospects to have on the team.. going forward we will see if/how their roles form on our hypothetical contending team.. otherwise we will trade them for assets for this future team.. and yes, other teams would want them.

Are you serious, there are about 3-5 teams in the east that the kings would probably go at least 500 against if we were in that conferance. And please tell me that you honestly believe that the Kings are worse than the Nets. The Kings are a young team with bench players as starters this year but they have something to build upon the next two years. Yes there defense is bad, yes they don't have a starting quality center, and yes they are very young and inconsistant team. But they are still competitive most nights and have a core to build on. Clippers, nets, nicks, warriors, and a few others are only 2-3 games or one losing or winning streak from being better or worse than the kings. Anyone who judges this team by wins or losses this year doesn't realize the difference between rebuilding and mediocrity is. Sacramento is rebuilding this year and in two to three years will be challenging for a title. Teams like clippers, Warriors, etc. who have had tallent for years and continue to finish below 500 are mediocer at best. I go back to what Paul Westpaul said at the beginning of the season." This year is a 82 game exhibition to see what we have to start toward the playoffs in 2010-11" We have a core to build on, we have a superstar in the making, we will have another lottery pick (hopefully), we added carl landry (youth) and we have already exceeded our win total from last year(17). We are not the worst team in the league!
