I will say, i hate that we have a back to back right after this road trip. Makes no sense, i hope our guys can get some rest.
The post-All-Star break was always going to be brutal for the Kings. Schedulers had them playing four or five fewer games than quite a few other teams heading into the break, which meant more back-to-backs and four-games-in-five nights for the Kings once the season resumed. It's kind of unreal that they've been on an absolute tear while playing their best basketball of the season during this stretch of compacted games. It's allowed them all the breathing room they need to stay pretty firmly in the conversation for the second or third seed, with an outside shot at overtaking Denver for the first seed. Just remarkable.

The good: Kings are now better on the road than they are at home.

The bad: Kings are now better on the road than they are at home.

The ugly: Kings are now better on the road than they are at home.

Take it for what you want. You can't say they aren't consistent.
I think being better on the road, which historically most teams aren’t, is a great thing.

It means the KINGS aren’t fazed wherever they play. And most really good teams play well on the road.

The only thing I’d point out is, this KINGS team hasn’t really played in a crazy road environment, similar to what their home environment will be come playoff time. But then again, I’m not that worried about it. The makeup of their team seems to thrive upon the negative energy and lack of respect.

Whereas at home, with the pressure of the home crowd, they sometimes seem to press and over do it.

Coach Brown needs to figure out why the Warriors feed so well off their home crowd and help his KINGS to channel it the same way.

Tatum is ahead of him imo, but that's it
I’d say that’s fair.

However, if DEN continues to fall, Jokic should be off that short list, if he isn’t already. But if SAC or MEM surpass DEN for #1 seed after the BIG lead they had — he should w/o a doubt be off the list.

So, Embiid, Giannis, and Tatum is how I’d have it. With Joker on the next tier with either Domas or Swipa (pick one since they won’t be picked together).

But #77 still being mentioned is beyond a joke at this point. Especially over Domas, Fox, and Mitchell.

Winning that insane double OT game in LA against a healthy Clipper team was magical. That was as close to the playoffs as i've ever seen and only makes me more hype for it to arrive.

Hall of Famer
Most died hard Kings fans are 16 years older because of the Playoffs drought. I am sure if they're young back then, they're adults now and probably married and have kids and probably pass down their passion to their kids. So what you end up today are a lot of new Kings fans I supposed along with the older fans.
didn't we see this when the Warriors started their upward trajectory after 12 straight losing seasons?
