Kings-Warriors PBP thread for Feb. 21

Welcome fellow Kings fans!

Here it is, Tuesday, Feb. 21. Trade deadline looming large on the horizon. Lots of rumors floating around but nothing really spectacular.

It's brilliantly clear up here this morning. Most of the snow has melted, but the remaining patches are shining like diamonds, the glitter so bright it almost hurts your eyes. It's also COLD...not as bad as yesterday morning (19 degrees) but still pretty brisk at 30.

This feels like the first day back at school after a long vacation. I hope all the players got a chance to rest, get rid of those nagging aches and pains, etc. We need them fit, focused and ready for the fight.

I think we're going to see a much more cohesive team tonight. SAR has to be feeling stronger, Ron's hip is probably much better, Brad's thumb should have healed up fairly well, and we MIGHT see Bonzi. This could actually be the first time we see the Kings at anything close to full strength...

Lots of Warrior jerseys in the crowd behind Koz and Kara. LOTS of Artest jerseys, mainly purple, and the usual Miller and Bibby purple and white. No gold, as usual...

They're playing "Tonight's the Night the World Begins Again" and showing clips of things like Bonzi's winning shot, Brad's three, Bibby's LONG three, Kevin's three, etc.

I have to confess. I have goosebumps.

I love this team.
