Why did Natt isolate Mccants repeatedly at the elbow when Kevin had 50, and Beno was actually doing a good job running the pcik and roll. Natt doesn't put his players in a position to succeed. But, another loss helps, eventhough it is fustrating.

Nope. I don't think so. You might want to double-check.

According to this year's Media Guide, Martin's high at the beginning of the season was 49 points, which he had done twice, most recently on Nov. 16, 2007 against the Knicks.

He had 48 points so this is indeed his first 50.

Now, now... There you go injecting some reality into the conversation. It's so much more fun for people to take potshots at Martin since he's been such a major disappointment.

Lol. Yeah, I can see that. Kevin had a good look, it was close, but he missed. Happens to the best of them. Kevin showed some heart tonight and his defense was good all game. I'm proud of the team. Natt however...

'50 Kevin Martin, Sacramento Golden State 4/01/2009'

Right between George Mikan and Dwyane Wade on the list...not too shabby company, eh? ;)

The names on that list of players who scored 50 or more against Sacramento is impressive as well. Wilkins, Drexler, James, Bryant, Iverson. But the guy who did us the worst was given an award named after him.

Meanwhile, the Kings have had 6 players drop 50 or more on them since they moved here to Sac, with the great Tony Delk's 55 being the most ever. lol

Whoa, Wilt dropped 50 or more on JUST the Knicks like 15 times in his career!!(including his famous 100 pt game, as well) Amazing! lol

edit: and I bet they were quadruple teaming him all night and he STILL did them dirty! lol

Um...I wasn't aware that Grant Hill was a warrior...

Pretty cool April Fool's Joke...although its weird that I couldn't find any other box score pranks on NBA.com (I do love Hill's DNP reason though).

Weird too that Fox sports and NBA.com almost seemed to have colluded on this tiny april fool's joke. Any spot any others on either of those sites?
