People are just bitter Reke isnt a Wade/Rose player. Need to check the expectations a bit.

He's what, 22? Hasnt had a lick of good coaching in his short NBA career, and last year was pretty much lost to injuries.

So now people jump all over him for his young player mistakes.


Reke has beast potential, and shows it from time to time. Its cool to be critical (I've been critical of Reke plenty of times), but its pretty goofy to give up on him.

Well what has hurt Tyreke is that he has never had a defined position or role, when he was a rookie Westphal was convinced he was a pg, and it worked for the most part because teams didn't have scouting reports on Tyreke, second season he gets moved to a secondary ball handling position with Beno. Injuries plagued his season. This season he starts off back as the starting pg, but it becomes obvious that he doesn't have the tools to play that position and Isiah takes over. So here we are now and Tyreke is now the SF of this team. Is this his position? What is his role?

IMO his role should be defensive stopper on the perimeter who is deadly in the open floor, alot like how Lebron plays, except we cannot expect Tyreke to facilitate as much as Lebron. He should however be the first guy we look for to fill the wing on the fast break.

To be fair, Reke is the same age in his third year as Wade was in his first year in the league.

Feeling guilty? I wasn't talking about you. Critcism is ok. He's not beyond that. Blaming him for things when things are going bad during a game when its really not his fault is what I'm talking about. Read the silly stuff people were saying in the middle pages of this thread.

I never feel guilty for making quality posts. So, sorry, no. I've dealt with Reke fans here long enough to understand that criticism is not ok. Criticism is generally not ok unless its on an approved whipping boy like Salmons.
