I'd have loved to be there, but watching on League Pass will still be fun. I hope everyone has a great time. Win or lose, I'm just hoping for a close competitive game to celebrate all the good memories we've shared in that arena. Now that the day of the game has arrived, I'm kindof hoping David Stern shows up. He was there when the arena opened and he was there when we learned there was more Sacramento Kings history to be made. It's ironic that the last visiting team to play in Arco will be the Seattle Sonics... err, make that the Oklahoma City Thunder (that was also the last franchise we faced in the playoffs wasn't it?). Knowing Kings fans, I'm sure that arena will be so loud tonight that the players on the floor will remember how it felt for the rest of their lives.

Go Kings!

San Antonio. We played the Zombie Sonics the year before.

What Kings player scores first points last game ever played at the old barn? Like Reggie Theus scored first hoop ever in Sacramento. Or maybe more memorable who scores last Kings basket tonight or is it other team scoring final points? Then again maybe doesn't really matter as looking forward to new sparkling Golden One Center!

12?! I thought I was doing well at 5.
To be fair, I said 12 different arenas, not 12 different cities: Chicago Stadium (vs. Bulls), United Center (vs. Bulls), Bradley Center (vs. Bucks), Market Square Arena (vs. Pacers), Palace at Aubrun Hills (vs. Pistons), Charlotte Coliseum (vs. Hornets), Time-Warner Cable Arena (vs. Bobcats), Omni (vs. Hawks), Phillips Arena (vs. Hawks), Verizon Center (vs. Wizards), Los Angeles Sports Arena (vs. Clippers) and Key Arena (vs. Supersonics). I also saw the Monarchs play in four different cities, but never in ARCO.

One of the nice things about going to high school in the midwest in the early nineties is being a reasonably short train ride away from three NBA teams.

Oh yeah. :) The Kevin Martin shot. I guess I transposed those two series in my head because the Seattle whipping felt like we were swirling around the drain while taking the defending champs to 6 games felt like the start of something big. It's a shame we never got a chance to see that Bibby/Bonzi/Artest team under Adelman get much of a chance to grow together.

I want to be mad at the Thunder for going all out in a game that doesn't matter for them but, let's face it: my real anger is at our team. Disgraceful for them to be so flat tonight.
